The opportunity


Transaction Strategy and Execution - Deal Technology works on complex deals across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors.

We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in IT who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients.

As a team, we advise clients across the deal lifecycle, from diligence to integration/separation execution, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people.

Your key responsibilities


As a Manager in Transaction Strategy and Execution - Deal Technology, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing IT focused projects.

You'll execute and manage projects across all sectors, supporting our client service team in developing and executing strategies for transactions.

Your role will involve developing experience across a range of different type of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., Diligence, Operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration strategy, planning, tracking).

Having a business centric approach to technology will seen as an valuable asset in this consulting-based role.


As a Manager, you have the opportunity to work within our Transaction Strategy & Execution (TSE) practice that is recognized as a trusted source of expertise for IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models and the optimization of technology processes and services across diverse industries.


Skills and attributes for success
We support clients with their evolving business strategy with the following services:

  • Effectively manage client engagement teams executing IT due diligence and transaction services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.

Specifically, be able to perform:

  • IT due diligence across key IT components of Applications, Infrastructure, Organization, Operating model, Technology processes and Service delivery etc.
  • Develop models and estimates for standalone costing, onetime cost development
  • Advice on IT operating models including sourcing strategy
  • Integration planning and execution (Integration Management Office)
  • Carveout or divestiture planning and execution (Carveout Management Office)
  • Synergy identification, validation and realization
  • Development of Transitional Services Agreements
  • Development of M&A and integration playbook
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including project management, problemsolving, and facilitation.
  • Assist in identifying key IT risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
  • Develop effective client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and deliverables.
  • Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with clients to grow the practice.
