The Opportunity
The City of St Albert Emergency Services department is currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Records Management Clerk position.


As a Records Management Clerk you will properly manage the daily information and records being input into the Police Reporting and Occurrence System (PROS) and provide a variety of general administrative duties in support of officers and co-workers.


The individual we seek has strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, the ability to work independently and a high level of initiative.


Qualifications

  • At minimum, a high school diploma combined with one year of previous administrative experience, preferably in an RCMP or police office environment.
  • A working knowledge of word processing programs (Word Perfect and MS Word), spreadsheets, PowerPoint, transcription software, upload/download of audio/video and scanning of documents.
  • The individual must possess a thorough working knowledge of the PROS and be operating at an "Information Manager" level.

Hours of Work
Shift work is required and will include a rotation schedule that includes weekends:
Hours of work from 8:00 a.m.

2:00 a.m.
Shifts may be altered to meet operational needs.


Compensation
$55,186.56-$ 67,111.20 per annum. In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a generous and comprehensive benefit package.

This position is represented by the CUPE 5141 Collective Agreement.
