We are looking for an
Accounting Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department of our US entity and manage a small team of 2.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Quarter end and year end processes.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger including the reconciliation of controlled accounts.
Bank reconciliations.
Process intercompany transactions.
Maintain foreign exchange transactions.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Participate in external annual audits.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Requirements:

Management experience of a small team
Advanced computer skills for MS Office, and especially Excel.
Strong understanding of intercompany transactions.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct, supervise and mentor team members.
Strong communication skills.
Ideally accredited with accounting credentials.
NetSuite experience is an asset.
