We're hiring a Bookkeeper/Administrative Support to help support our clients in a hybrid position.
The job would require administrative support 1-2 days a week at the office (4625 Boulevard Cote Vertu Ouest #250, Saint-Laurent, Quebec H4S 1C8).
And you should be comfortable with modern communication and task-management tools so that we can all collaborate effectively.
Main responsibilities:
Communicate with clients and government regarding assessments and administrative tasks
Support staff at the office with filing and other administrative tasks
Full-cycle bookkeeping
Monitor accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely processing of payroll
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in related field, preferably at an accounting firm
Knowledge of bank reconciliations, A/R and A/P posting, DAS remittances and month-end reconciliations
Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online is ant asset
Familiarity with CaseWare and Taxprep is a plus
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
Comfortable working remotely and using remote collaboration tools
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and French
