Job Summary:

The Procurement team is looking for a Category Manager to be responsible for

- driving productivity, performance, and profitability throughout the organization by aligning
- people, processes and systems to a common set of goals and objectives.

You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer, to

- an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

Responsibilities:

Take charge of the renewal and acquisition process for different categories such as Marketing and IT;
Contribute to change management effort to support the adoption of a standard set of tools, procurement templates, legal documents and supplier selection (including RFPs);
Manage or impact, directly and indirectly, budgets totaling $100 million;
Lead contract negotiation for the entire organization and work closely with the Legal department;
Participate in the financial planning and budgeting process and monitor adherence to the budget;
Support Director in the management of the Procurement team, including mentorship, coaching and engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor in Commerce, Engineering, or Law;
At least 7 years of experience in a similar role;
Retail industry general awareness is an asset;
Strong coaching, delegation, communication and presentation abilities;
Bilingual (French and English);
Have strong business acumen;
Thrive in the face of change with a strong sense of urgency;
Challenge the status quo by contributing impactful ideas and solutions;
Feel at ease reviewing agreements;
Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration with stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers;
Present information in an effective and concise manner;
Be proactive and exceed expected results.
