Job description Summary

The Business Solutions intern is tasked with providing administrative and UAT support to the Business Solutions team.

Reporting to the AVP, Continuous Improvement, this role requires strong organizational and time management skills, keen attention to detail, and customer service experience with clients and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Enter data into FIRST's loan management systems
  • Perform user acceptance and regression testing
  • Update spreadsheets and reports
  • Maintain and update project documentation such as action item lists, issue logs, and decision log
  • Provide assistance for ad hoc requests

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Required:

  • Good understanding of technical concepts
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards change and the ability to adapt to new situations
  • High attention to detail and quality of work
  • Strong capacity to manage one's time and prioritize competing activities independently
  • A problemsolver, selfstarter and collaborative team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

Training / Education / Experience Qualifications:

  • Working towards a college or university degree
  • Project management training is an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio
