General Duties:

To perform tasks including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on extrusion and thermoforming
equipment, size reduction equipment, material conveying equipment, and other equipment used to support a 24/7
manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- To competently support manufacturing by providing technical support, along with leadership in dealing with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Perform required preventative maintenance as assigned, report machine deficiencies, irregularities and unsafe conditions
- Learn and understand the operation of all equipment to confidently identify problem root cause by reading relevant schematics, assembly drawings, and other work instructions.
- Identify and resolve equipment and material problems, report low parts inventory levels
- Attend training related to production, safety, and machinery for professional growth
- Perform other duties as instructed by management
Qualifications:
- High school graduates required with 5+ years of prior experience in a Canadian manufacturing environment
- Preferred industrial millwright or electrician license
- Hardworking, ability to multitask
- Good problemsolving and leadership skills and takes the initiative to get things done
- Personable, respectful, energetic personalities
- Good listening skills and can take directions and communicate effectively
