The Accreditation Coordinator will be key in providing administrative and project support to the Accreditation team within PGME.

The Accreditation Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating project tasks, responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, preparing documentation, organizing schedules, taking minutes, and arranging logístical details for events and programming.

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Keeping wellinformed on Accreditation standards, policies and procedures
  • Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
  • Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
  • Identifying and introducing variations to established administrative processes
  • Scheduling appointments, resolving scheduling conflicts, and booking appropriate accommodations.
  • Writing routine documents and correspondence, including taking and distributing meeting minutes
  • Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming
  • Handling sensitive and/or confidential information

Essential Qualifications:


  • Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years working within an academic and/or health care setting in a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating project tasks and liaising with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing administrative process improvements.
  • Experience coordinating schedules and taking meeting minutes.
  • Proficiency with arranging logistics and activities for relevant events and/or programming.
  • Strong organizational skills to support multiple stakeholders, including at a senior level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, discretion, and tact
  • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Ability to problem solve and deal effectively with multiple priorities and projects with conflicting deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
