Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, Specialty

Guardian Veterinary Centre is welcoming for a
Full-time Medical Device Reprocessing Tech to join our fun and motivated team of professional pet health caregivers.

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technologist teams by maintaining our large volume of medical equipment.

We are looking for someone who has completed their Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Certificate.


What you need:

• Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations
• Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
• The ability to work collaboratively with a large team.

Duties will include:

• Processing and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Processing and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
• General hospital maintenance including cleaning kennels and OR spaces
• Maintenance of medical equipment
• Patient handling and restraint
• Assisting Veterinarians and Technologists with various tasks and treatment of pet patients

- aiding with diagnostic imaging

• Working closely with the Specialty team to support patient care in the Surgery Department

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
