Service: Warehouse Production

As part of the production team, your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate CNC machines. You will be responsible to operate and monitor machining operations of our wheels.

RESPONSABILITIES:


CNC Machine Operations | 100%

  • Review work orders and to determine machining operations.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, or other machining operations.
  • Check the dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Load and position proper material on to CNC.
  • Select proper tooling and programs as per job requirements on all machines.
  • Monitor material to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Properly label and organize parts to ensure production flow.
  • Assist other operations departments when in the slow season and workload is low.
  • Communicate with management and coworkers to achieve goals.
  • Maintain and clean machinery and workspace.
  • Follow shop safety standards at all times.

ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Vocational training in machining.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of 3 axis vertical CNC mills.
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately.
  • Excellent math and computer skills.
  • Able to repeatedly lift 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Bilingual would be an asset.
  • Knowledge and basic proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset.
  • Ability to operate a forklift would be an asset.
This position does not require travel
