About the Role:

Your Responsibilities:
- 'Hands On' management of the day-to-day activities

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, backup and Azure cloud services.
Providing oversight and direction to a highly skilled team of technical specialists
Conducting annual performance reviews of fulltime staff
Instill a culture of continuous improvement and best practices among your team
Ensure Audit items are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner
Develop and implement strategies to ensure our infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
Collaborate with other IT teams, including security and operations, to ensure servers and systems are secure.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and vendors.
Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our infrastructure stays current and competitive.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Azure and datacenter management.
Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering largescale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, cloud computing, and security best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of the Azure public cloud ecosystem including servers, storage, networking, ARM templates / Terraform, PowerShell and deployment best practices.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Services and Applications: Windows Server management, MS Active Directory, Group Policy, File Services (SMB, CIFS, DFS, NFS), Network Services (DNS, DHCP), FTP/SFTP, Backup (Rubrik).
Sound knowledge of the following technologies: VMWare, Cisco UCS, Dell/EMC Unity.
Initiative to take charge of a problem, and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for problem resolution.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and able to schedule resources according to existing priorities
Willingness to assume new responsibilities with the changing business and technology requirements
Some travel required to our GTA datacenters
Knowledge of ITIL
Experience within the financial services industry a strong asset
Azure certifications preferred.
