Description
Your tasks
- Install new and refurbish existing process and building electrical equipment utilizing outside contractors.
- Perform all construction work with mínimal impact to current production operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies and procedures.
- Source, evaluate, and establish contracts with electrical service providers as necessary to perform capital and refurbishment projects.
- Coordinate the purchase of electrical spare parts and tools for new equipment.
- Monitor electrical project costs and operate within the established capital budget.
Your profile
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician
- Good skills in SAP and Microsoft Office, including MS Project
- 5 years in a similar industry with supervisory experience managing projects
Your future
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the job holder is responsible for the completion of the electrical portion of capital and refurbishment projects through the use of outside contractors.
He/she is a member of the Leadership Team being responsible for the safety and scheduling of work for the outside electrical contractors.
Effective cost control and completing projects on time and contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a safe workplace will contribute to the success of the company.
Salary:
$93,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
