We are currently looking to hire anAccounting Assistant/
Bookkeeper
What you will be doing:
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Processing and recording transactions.
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are uptodate.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use.
- Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge
- Handle accounts receivable monitoring, reconciliation, and aging
What we are looking for:
- Quick Books experience is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet all financial deadlines
- Prior knowledge of Sales / Purchase Orders
- Ability to generate new approaches to problems or innovations to established best practices using imagination and experience
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year
- Bookkeeping: 1 year
- Sales Orders and
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year
- Bookkeepers: 1 year (preferred)
- Basic math: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location:
In person
