They complete and submit required documentation including patient care reports.
- Our EMRs mainly transport admitted patients within the hospital setting to another healthcare facility for testing and or treatments. Sometimes the patients are returned to their place of origin or may be admitted at a different location within the Central Zone. The shift schedule is day shift Monday-Friday and does not work weekends or statutory holidays.
- The AMTS employee plays an important role as members of the Associated Medical Transport Service interprofessional healthcare team. In the course of their work, they collaborate with other emergency medical personnel, physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
