_Are you a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated individual? Ancora Light Respite is seeking someone like you to join our team in supporting children, youths, and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities through community and in-home respite services.

Location:
Newmarket (Intersection Bathurst and Davis)


Position:
Subcontract


Schedule:
Casual (2-3 shifts a week), weekdays and weekends


Rate:
Starting at $22/hour + mileage


Responsibilities:


  • Support the client to engage in their community, fostering meaningful interactions and participation in activities.
  • Assist the client in engaging in various activities during inhome respite sessions, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle,
  • MUST have business or commercial insurance.
  • Ability to pass police and vulnerable sector checks.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
