What Would You Do?

The Studio Installation Specialist is responsible for executing the installation of the studio rollout to Palliser Retail Partners.

Works in tandem with Visual Merchandising Coordinator to plan shipment and arrival of studio components for installation and executing the Product floor plans on retail floors.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position would include:

  • Works together with Visual Merchandising Coordinator on all aspects of Studio installation for retail floors
  • Responsible for Studio set up, including assembling millwork and furniture installations, lighting, TV and audio, and signage.
  • Leads and manages Studio shipping process.
Coordinates with various departments to ensure all product, millwork and POP materials are shipped on time and all required paperwork (ie:
Customs) is completed.

  • Partners with POP and supply chain to manage Millwork/Graphic inventory's based on rollout schedule
  • Gain working knowledge of products to aid in set up and repairs in the field.
  • General office jobs as required.
What Do You Bring?

  • Two years to five years of similar or related experience project facilitation.
  • Experience with power tools and minor construction.
  • Forklift and power jack operation. Ladder and scaffolding use and safety.
  • Ability to interpret, draw and review millwork/construction drawings.
  • General Trade experience considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Valid driver's license, clean drivers abstract.
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally (North America)
Office hours Monday to Friday: 8:00-4:30. Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to Studio installation.
