  • Aurora Area is looking for an Ink Blender to join our team As an Ink Blender you will perform a broad range of technical tasks pertaining to daily ink room management and operation under the direction of the plant manager.
12 hour shifts

  • Coordinates job set up for presses.
  • Formulates and blends inks as required.
  • Maintains inventory control standards.
  • Organizes inks for press runs.
  • Returns inks from press to appropriate area.
  • Performs pressside color matching.
  • Operates color computer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Experience working with solvent ink is preferred.
  • Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills; as well as a demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required.
  • Knowledge of basic computer operating and a good working knowledge of IMS.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
