NSB is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Liaison for our Client in Calgary.Assignment Description
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the business on initial project assessment; document business requirement, detail scope, and prepare high level business case.
- Work with leadership and IT to determine prioritization to plan for future changes.
- Be knowledgeable of and communicate opportunities; feeding new technology solutions, identifying synergies between stakeholders and proposing options for system integrations.
- Work with IT to gain line of sight on corporate strategy & business improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain relationships with business/end users and IT.
- Coordinate reporting solutions; work with corporate reporting teams to deliver on reporting requirements.
- As required, support upgrades, enhancements, releases, or other changes; coordinating implementation of improvements, issue management, testing, documentation, and training.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business process analysis, and/or project management.
- Related postsecondary education in petroleum, computer science, or business analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively across various functional teams.
- Proficient skills in MS Office, Visio, and Reporting Software (Power BI, Business Objects, Spotfire).
- Familiarity with writing SQL queries
- Demonstrates comfortable ability to work with a range of corporate leadership levels as well as relate to front line concerns.
- Demonstrates forward thinking and complex problemsolving skills.
