We are seeking a
Coordinator, Markets to join our
Marketing and Business Development team in our
Toronto office


The Coordinator will provide assistance to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) team with activities and initiatives related to marketing, business development and profile-building opportunities for lawyers and practices, as well as handle administrative tasks for the department both locally and nationally.

The position is the face of an active department and will deal with a wide range of internal clients from lawyers, legal assistants and Business Services, as well as serve as a resource to department colleagues in Toronto and those based in the other regions across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Department Support_
  • Draft standard content and update existing content on the firm's website, including bio updates, speaking engagements, media mentions and event information. Draft posts and update the firm's internal portal.
  • Support for the GTA Events team, providing assistance with organization and ontheground support for on
- and off-site client-facing and firm events.

  • Support for the Marketing team, providing assistance with data entry, administration and reporting.
  • Assemble, coordinate and deliver information for marketing packages, trade shows, conferences, and presentation/pitch materials.
  • Monitor the Marketing Ticket System and ensure that requests for marketing materials, promotional items, etc. are fulfilled in accordance with department service level expectations.
  • Coordination of GTA lawyer photo sessions.
  • Order fulfillment and tracking of the firm's inventory of promotional items for the GTA offices.
  • General Administration_
  • Management and preparation of cheque requisitions for Markets department expenses firmwide, securing of management approvals, tracking and reconciling expenses against budget, liaising and occasional troubleshooting with the firm's Finance group.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the department's corporate credit card, ensuring that all charges are accurately and appropriately coded
  • Management and coordination of GTA sports tickets and special events for client hosting and business development purposes
  • Department administration, including (electronic) filing, meeting scheduling and coordination, and the handling of general department inquiries
  • General assistance with departmental presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Assistance in organizing the department's workspace in the firm's Document Management System
  • Other general administrative duties as required

What you'll bring:


  • Education and Experience:_
  • At least one year of experience in a Business Development and Marketing capacity within a professional services organization.
  • Superior capabilities in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Some familiarity with CRM databases, ideally with InterAction, would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with a Document Management System is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: _
  • Strong computer literacy, with an ability to quickly learn new platforms as needed.
  • Team player with solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment.
  • Superior attention to detail, accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Responsiveness and diplomacy.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills,
  • Welldeveloped client/customer service orientation.
