Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
  • Support the Delivery of Signature Social Impact Programs to our Employees & Communities_
  • Support administration of Meridian's community giving program, the Good Neighbour Program
  • Support administration of Meridian's Employee giving program, My Commitment to Communities
  • Liaise with Retail, Wealth, and Business Banking colleagues to support Good Neighbour Program execution and funding requirements with a focus on administration, marketing and communications
  • Support online system payment coordination and data reporting for Meridian's Good Neighbour Program and My Commitment to Communities Program.
  • Support donation matching request approval and stakeholder support for the My Commitment to Communities program.
  • Support communications program in support of Social Impact department where required.
  • Coordinate Marketing & Communications of Key Social Impact Programs and Partnerships_
  • Support the Specialist, Social Impact in partnering with Internal Communications, Media Relations, and Social Media and Marketing colleagues to design, plan, and execute promotional plans, for optimal awareness and engagement.
  • Support the Specialist, Social Impact in tracking and measuring employee Social Impact activities, anecdotes, photos, and program outcomes.
Communicate, Coordinate, and Influence Social Impact Practices

  • Communicate and promote Meridian's social impact goals, programs, and partnerships to internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining exceptional relationships.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/projections regarding social impact expenditures and initiatives, and their benefits to the community and Meridian.

We'd Love to Work with You If You Have the following skills and abilities:

  • Education related to corporate community investment, not-for-profit program management, and/or marketing and communications.
  • An understanding of strategic corporate or notforprofit/public sector programs and/or partnerships.
  • Must have enthusiasm for spearheading the continuous improvement of programs and partnerships.
  • Strong skills in client service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to engage, support, and coordinate volunteers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in a corporate setting.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, planning, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn other programs including sponsorship software.
  • Experience using Benevity and/or GrantStream (Grants by Benevity) software is an asset.
  • Sound judgement in dealing with complex issues and conflict situations.
  • Works well in a fastpaced, fluid environment; comfortable in an environment of continuous improvement and change and working with a large number of employees.

Office Location: 3280 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 2X3, CAN

  • Meridian has a remote work policy that allows flexibility for employees to work remotely but also requires regular time in the office for purposeful meetings to collaborate, innovate and build effective relationships with your team, your colleagues and your leader which is very important to us._
