We are looking to add a
Permanent Full-Time
Payroll Assistant to join our Corporate Payroll team in Winnipeg, MB.

Reporting to the Manager, Payroll & Benefits, the
Payroll Assistant role will work with the Payroll team to meet deadlines and process payroll accurately and on time.

This position is responsible to receive and process trip jackets & timecards, manage incoming and outgoing mail, keep track of hours of service for drivers, order supplies, maintaining files and other duties as assigned.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the office.

Post-Secondary education and/or experience in Payroll and/or Administration is an asset.
Experience in an administrative office environment and/or customer service is an asset
Strong people skills working with 3rd party providers and collaborating with team members
Experience working with Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn new software
Excellent time management and organizational skills in handling volume of work, changing demands and various source of information
High degree of accuracy and attention to details
Knowledge of payroll processes is a definite asset
