Why is this role important?

Deepen CIHI's understanding of our Ontario clients and their priorities

What you'll do

Conduct analytical adjacent work such as internet scraping, packaging data/analysis, and knowledge mobilization/translation
Support engagements with external clients to understand their policy/data priorities and challenges.
Share knowledge with internal clients to identify relevant resources and to enhance uptake of CIHI products/services and advance initiatives such as transition to a new long term care assessment
Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, factchecking and other information gathering activities as needed to develop a strong understanding of stakeholder needs and interests, and to identify opportunities to provide data, information, and appropriate supports.
Develop knowledge of CIHI's data holdings, related data from other organizations, and tools/best practices used to access these data holdings and related analysis.
Assume responsibility for other related duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table

Strong oral and written communication skills; customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience in writing and synthesizing analysis and research, and the preparation of information products with strong attention to detail.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
Demonstrated ability to prepare interpret and effectively communicate and present technical approaches and analytical findings.
Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
