The Work You Will Do


As a personal support worker (PSW) you will have an opportunity choose, from a wide variety of work assignments located in healthcare institutions throughout Quebec.

Anywhere from the Outaouais to the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, you will participate with diligence and empathy in the care of patients and their families and will assist them in their activities of daily living with kindness and compassion.

Education and Experience

  • A diploma from a recognized school.
  • 6 months of fulltime experience in the role of a personal support worker (also called beneficiary attendant (BA) or PAB).
  • CPR training an asset.
  • Mandatory PDSB training.
  • Has a reliable means of transportation (bus, train, etc.) OR a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel.
  • No criminal record and be able to obtain a vulnerable sector check, if applicable.
  • Excellent communication skills in French both written and spoken
  • Fluency in English an asset
