The
Darlington project site is looking for an organized, results-oriented and professional
Project Scheduler to join our Project Team.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

The
Project Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedule. They are responsible for recording and tracking contract and scope changes.

The
Project Scheduler will be responsible for supporting the Project Team with various project related activities throughout the project life cycle.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work with project management team, planners and estimators in developing project plans (cost, schedule, and risk, scope and change management plans)
  • Work with project management team in developing project's internal controls processes and procedures
  • Track and evaluate cost and schedule trends and variances and adjust forecasts as required
  • Conduct analysis and prepare progress reports on costs, schedule and risks
  • Support project closeout reporting and documentation activities as required
  • An understanding of critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Management, or equivalent

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:


  • Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 with minimum 6 years' experience
  • Security cleared with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) considered an asset
  • Analytical, able to work with database and prepare reports
  • Proven understanding of project management, engineering and construction processes preferred
  • Experience in cost and schedule development and monitoring practices and procedures preferred
  • Nuclear experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) credential considered an asset
  • Requires strong computer skills, especially: Primavera P6, Excel, and MS Project
