What We Are Seeking
Reporting to the National Director of Human Resources, this opportunity provides broad and diversified administrative support to the Human Resources department.
This opportunity is best suited to an individual who is passionate about HR, learns quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
- Support peak work cycles for recruitment (e.g., uploading and drafting job postings to external sites and associations, booking phone screens and interviews, draft interview guides and preparing offer letters, supporting social media strategies)
- Review onboarding documents and follow up with new hires
- Helped with the administration of all aspects of HR and recruitment functions
- Titling convention review and update
- Centralize Job Descriptions in the database
- Support of the Performance Review process
- Reviewing documentation database for gaps
- Health and Safety Administration
- Conduct research as required
- Additional administrative support and/or projects as required
What You Will Bring
- University student who has completed at least 3 years of study toward a Bachelor's degree in HR related field, or equivalent program. Recent graduates will also be considered
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
- Proven ability/experience in the abovenoted responsibilities
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Someone who takes the initiative, is a quick and eager learner, flexible and independent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members
- Proven track record of good attendance and job performance.
- Ability to work from our Calgary Downtown Studio
