Job Description Summary:

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to combine your scientific background with the business side of science? STEMCELL is hiring a Program Manager for our Business Operations Products department, who will play a key role in expanding STEMCELL's rapidly growing product lines.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing the launch of new products, as well as using strong interpersonal skills for operational management of specific product lines post-launch, always maintaining the high quality and service standards of STEMCELL.

This role will also drive process improvement activities and training/mentoring new staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as a project lead in launch projects by providing leadership and motivation to teams to ensure project timelines are achieved
Manages risk mitigation and continuous improvement projects; recommends revisions to departmental policies, procedures and processes
Mentors more junior staff on departmental processes
Works with third party business partners to achieve projectrelated goals
Acts as product operations specialist at the product line level while providing input into the development and expansion of product pipelines

Knowledge and Qualifications

MSc with 2+ years of related experience; PhD/MBA would be an asset
Track record of successfully managing projects spanning a wide range of project types
Experience building strong working relationships with customers, business partners and/or senior employees
Experience working with Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be an asset
Strong business acumen, with an understanding of corporate finance, margin analysis and project valuation would be an asset
