Monarch House is a child development centre providing seamless services to families impacted with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental delays.
We have been providing clinical services across Canada for over 12 years and have a well-established reputation in our community.
We have a spacious, professional, and welcoming office space with full administrative supports.We are looking to add psychometrists to our professional team to participate and assist in completing psychoeducational and developmental/ASD assessments.

Under the direct clinical supervision of a member of the Ontario College of Psychologists, the Psychometrist provides client care and service, including assessment and consultation, at Monarch House.
Assessment includes a combination of some, or all of the following activities:
- Administering and scoring tests (e.g. ADOS, WISC, WIATT, WRAML, ABAS, Conners, ASEBA, etc.)
- Collecting case history information through review of medical records, conducting family and client interviews, and reviewing records and reports from other professionals
- Writing reports describing the assessment results
- Attending school visits and any follow up meetings, when applicable
- Communicating these results, with the exception of the diagnosis, to the client, the family and the team
- Completing necessary documentation in accordance with established standards and guidelines of Monarch House, and the College of Psychologists of Ontario
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Psychology with a clinical emphasis, Masters preferred, including courses on the development and administration of psychometric instruments
- Experience administering, interpreting, and scoring psychological tests, psychometric assessments with children (ASOS2, WISC-V, essential)
- Demonstrated abilities in diagnostic/testing, assessment and report writing for children and adults with physical, developmental and a broad range of disabilities
- Familiar with various learning and developmental disabilities and specific recommendations for school settings
- Ability to work with children with complex learning and developmental needs
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete tasks in a busy environment
- Current Criminal Reference Check (CRC) that includes a Vulnerable Sector Search administered by the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC)
