Position Overview:
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Affinity Health, you will be instrumental in delivering personalized care services to our senior clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist seniors with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors, fostering a sense of connection and wellbeing.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Administer medications and assist with medication reminders, as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, ensuring open communication and trust.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while delivering care services.
Qualifications:
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) designation from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working with seniors in a caregiving capacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in personal care techniques, including assisting with activities of daily living.
- Strong judgment, problemsolving, and assessment abilities to address client needs effectively.
- Honest, dedicated, and flexible approach to caregiving responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Commitment to delivering highquality care with compassion and professionalism.
