This is a 6-month temporary part time position (3 days a week).
Your role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to provide administrative support specifically for the Senior Mediator.
Responsibilities include:
- Manages the Senior Mediator's calendar.
- Organizes logistics (boardroom reservations, video conference bookings, etc.).
- Supports the Senior Mediator in the planning mediation processes.
- Works with confidential and sensitive information.
- Researches opportunities for presentations and workshops and organizes them.
- Organizes travel and all related logistics (including questionnaires and evaluations).
- Completes and gets approval of expense claims (travel expenses, etc.).
- Prepares the data components for the annual report.
- Reviews documentation.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Fluently bilingual (English/French) is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in using Google suite of tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understands or has an interest in mediation and case management (asset).
- Very good administrative and organizational skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Tact, diplomacy and empathy in sensitive and difficult circumstances.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime (if required).
