Downsview Park (North York) with plans to move within the year to the Rouge National Urban Park (Scarborough)

Position Summary:
Scope:
- No HR Supervisory responsibilities
- No budgetary/financial accountability
Accountabilities:
- Accepts and processes monetary and inkind donations
- Issues acknowledgments and tax receipts
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance of CRM and other donationrelated records
- Assists with ongoing donor stewardship
- Assists with inhouse mailings
- Assists with other administrative and fundraising tasks as needed
Experience:
- Experience in a customer servicefocused setting
- Experience working with eTapestry and/or other fundraising database or CRMs
- Work or volunteer experience with the NFP sector an asset
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite required
- Proficiency with CRMs (especially eTapestry) an asset
Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be personable both in person and on the phone
- Highly proficient with computers especially Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRMs
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritise
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and be inquisitive
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Genuine concern for and understanding of wildlife and environmental issues
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to spend extended periods using a computer keyboard
- Requires extended periods of sitting
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working near materials and animals that may trigger allergic reactions
- Open office environment, with equipment noise and the possibility of frequent interruption
- Some evening and weekend work will be required
- Some offsite work may be required
- Required to walk on concrete floors in the building
