Downsview Park (North York) with plans to move within the year to the Rouge National Urban Park (Scarborough)

Donor Relations Coordinator

Position Summary:
Scope:


  • No HR Supervisory responsibilities
  • No budgetary/financial accountability

Accountabilities:


  • Accepts and processes monetary and inkind donations
  • Issues acknowledgments and tax receipts
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of CRM and other donationrelated records
  • Assists with ongoing donor stewardship
  • Assists with inhouse mailings
  • Assists with other administrative and fundraising tasks as needed

Experience:


  • Experience in a customer servicefocused setting
  • Experience working with eTapestry and/or other fundraising database or CRMs
  • Work or volunteer experience with the NFP sector an asset

Education:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite required
  • Proficiency with CRMs (especially eTapestry) an asset

  • Highly proficient with computers especially Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRMs
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Genuine concern for and understanding of wildlife and environmental issues

Physical Requirements:


  • Requires the ability to spend extended periods using a computer keyboard
  • Requires extended periods of sitting

Working Conditions:


  • This position requires working near materials and animals that may trigger allergic reactions
  • Open office environment, with equipment noise and the possibility of frequent interruption
  • Some evening and weekend work will be required
  • Some offsite work may be required
  • Required to walk on concrete floors in the building
