Accounting clerk

Job Description:

Ensure proper recording of daily cash inflows and outflows
Ensure proper recording of journal entries
Review Purchase Orders and Invoices for accuracy and proper GL coding
Process Resident refunds
Process cheque deposits using deposit edge
Record Resident meal credits
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliations
Process payments on company credit card, ensure entries are posted and reconcile on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly HST returns
Post monthly recurring entries

outstanding customer service to internal and external clients

Administrative duties as required
Prepare adhoc reports and data analyses as required

Experience and education

Postsecondary education with concentration in business and accounting
Minimum 2 years' experience
Strong knowledge of Excel is required
High level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role
Experience working in a fastpaced and high volume environment
