Job Responsibilities (continued):
Qualifications:
Education
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
Communications, public relations, business or any 'service industry' program (i.e. event management, travel, advertising) 1-3 years study
Experience
No experience required
Experience in Community Investment and/or fundraising an asset
- Ability to work inperson at the Canada Post Head Office in Ottawa and remotely.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Adaptable: ability to work effectively in different situations and/or with different people
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decisionmaking skills with proven abilities in problem solving.
- Various technical skills based on business area requirements
- Various linguistic profiles dependent on position
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Study in one of the Corporation's areas of business mentioned above
- Have completed your first year of University, College or Cégep, and
- Be enrolled for the following year
