As the Creditor Documentation Specialist, you will design and maintain clear and comprehensive documents to support a growing creditor product shelf and contribute to an excellent client and member experience.

You will collaborate with product teams across all functions, ensuring documentation complies with audit requirements and implement industry and organizational best practices.

You influence the direction of documentation practices, support departmental strategies and capture complex concepts to meet evolving client needs and support business growth.


How you will create impact:


  • Designing innovative, user friendly and compliant documentation to support the client's portfolio and their insured members/borrowers, including a product guide and certificate of insurance for each product type.
  • Producing and communicating all product documentation and tools, completing quarterly risk reviews and documenting key initiatives in compliance with Cooperators Life Insurance Company pricing policy.
  • Creating documentation to comply with internal and external regulatory policies and ensuring the interpretation of the product design is integrated in the suite of products, capturing audit deliverables and business decisions, and assisting with quarterly documentation.
  • Conducting regular industry and market research to incorporate documentation best practices and creating, reviewing and approving client requests for documents as required.

To join our team:


  • You have 35 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • You have a postsecondary degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • You have working knowledge of product design, compliance and regulatory requirements and contracts.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, PP) and willingness to learn new technologies such as Adobe, InDesign.
