An-Mar Concrete Pumping is looking to add operator to our team for long term/ permanent employment in Kelowna, BC. we are looking for someone who is dedicated, hard working, and wants to grow with the company. We are proud to offer extensive benefits, competitive wages, and ample overtime.

Most of our work is local to the Kelowna area, as well as some work in the surrounding area, operators are home every night and start at the shop every morning.

- operating the concrete pump in a safe and reliable manner
- continuously showing the utmost regard for the safety of themselves and all others around them
- evaluating ground/slope conditions and safely set system up accordingly
- safely driving to/from site, and adhere to all road/ site rules while driving
- properly washing out the hopper/pump system after every job
- keeping they're pipe, hoses, clamps, etc. clean at all times
- conducting routine maintenance and repairs to pump accordingly in the shop
- communicating effectively with on-site personnel in a calm, professional manner as a representative of the company
- continuously be willing to learn and excel in there job performance as a concrete pump operator
- preforming various other duties (shop work, housekeeping, deliveries, etc.) as required by the company

Job requirements:
- experience is required for this job offer
- legally eligible to work in Canada

18 years of age or older

- class 5 licence is mandatory
- ability to lift objects exceeding 50 lbs
- basic mechanical knowledge
- willingness to work extended/ variable hours, especially during the peak summer season
- must wear proper PPE on specific sites(hard hat, steel toe boots)
- detail oriented with attention to cleanliness/ care of equipment
- knowledge of Kelowna areatruck routes/ roads is an asset
- safety tickets are also an asset (WHMIS, CSTS, H2S, first aid, etc.)
