About the Role
Acts as the first point of contact for clients of SFU's Big Data Hub and its service.
Provides a high level of customer service by responding to a variety of general inquiries and event booking requests and triaging requests for service to the appropriate staff member, consultant, or service group.
Provides clerical support by typing various documentation, filing, and distributing mail.Checks client specifications to ensure the accuracy of client requests pertaining to the Hub's service; follows up with clients accordingly.
Liaises with various service providers (e.g. IT Services, Facilities Services, catering, security etc.) to monitor and troubleshoot all operational problems that occur during service delivery, including the successful execution of meetings and events. Perform routine checks to ensure the Hub is ready for client occupation based on facility standards.Full
