***: Reporting to the Winnipeg Logistics Department, the Rural Grease Truck Driver is responsible for the pick-up of Used Cooking Oil across Manitoba and Northwest Ontario as well as other duties as assigned. This is an overnight position with the driver spending 1-2 nights per week away at a company paid for hotel.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for the pickup of Used Cooking Oil across Manitoba and Northwest Ontario.
  • Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
  • Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork including driver's log, customer documents, fuel and expense receipts, etc.
  • Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
  • Required to formally report any concerns or customer service related issues.
  • Responsible for following all company and health and safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.
  • Responsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Ensure safe driving operations.
  • Responsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with adhoc issues that may arise.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

- $28.33 Per Hour Plus Overtime after 40 hours

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Valid Class 1 License
  • Clean driving record
  • Customer service oriented
  • Familiarity of driving within the Province of Manitoba
  • Familiarity of driving in Northwest Ontario an asset
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
  • Team oriented and willing to assist with all routes
  • Ability to keep up with physically demanding tasks such as repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
