Software Product Engineering Manager – Remote – CanadaAspire Software is looking to hire a talented and experienced Software Product Engineering Manager to join our growing team
In this unique role, you will report to the COO and be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to software development, QA, and launch.
As the Software Product Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technical vision, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a diverse technical background in both legacy and modern tech stacks.Aspire Software, the operational arm of Valsoft Corp, operates and manages Valsoft's global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals.
By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.
The successful candidate can work in a remote work model anywhere in CanadaConduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation
Work closely with designers and stakeholders to create a user-centric product experience
Track product performance metrics and iterate based on user data and feedback
Engineering Management:
Partner with product managers (3) to translate product requirements into technical specifications
Develop and implement a development process that is efficient, scalable, and agile
Establish clear goals and performance expectations for the teams
Hire, onboard, and mentor top engineering talent
Oversee technical execution and ensure code quality is maintained
Manage technical debt and work with the team to implement solutions
5+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Software Engineering leadership roles
~ At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is essential
~ Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
~ Passion for building innovative products and a deep understanding of user needs
~ Fluent in English is essential
