Alberta Industrial Metals, a division of Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking 2 individuals for the position of
Warehouse Person in our
Red Deer, AB location.


Position 1:
DAYS 8:00 am - 4:30 pm


Position 2:
DAYS 11:30 am - 8:00 pm


Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation (including Cannabis).

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Running overhead crane and forklift.
  • Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications.
  • Operation of saw equipment and various other machinery types.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Performing daily preventative maintenance.
  • Ensuring quality customer service.
  • Able to perform some heavy lifting.

Willing to work shifts and take a pre-employment aptitude test

Requirements:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent (would be an asset).
  • Able to work some shift work.
  • Good knowledge of math and measurements.
  • Good communication skills
  • Self motivated, results oriented.

Starting Hourly Rate:
$21.16/hr

After probation Rate:
$22.68/hr
