The Role
CPC Pumps International Inc.

is a part of the Atlas Copco Group, a world-leading industrial group present in more than 180 countries, over the span of over 145 years.

It is a company that serves customers with innovative compressor, vacuum, power, and industrial technologies.

CPC Pumps International is a global company specializing in the design, manufacture, testing and servicing of engineered, heavy duty process pumps.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of
Project Coordinator.

Purpose

The Project Coordinator utilizes organizational skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to review, plan, schedule, monitor and coordinate pump projects throughout the various stages of equipment orders and manufacturing.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with engineering, production, sales, suppliers, and customers to ensure contract fulfillment on schedule and within budget
  • Develop detailed project schedules and track the progress of contract milestones
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy related to commercial/schedule requirements and ensure consistency between internal sales orders, PO's, and other contract documents
  • Coordinate work with other team members (project managers, designers, and document controllers) to ensure project tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Monitor production, quality, and purchasing activities to ensure smooth order execution
  • Coordinate and schedule customer shop witnessing activities (tests, inspections, etc.)
  • Resolve issues that arise during order execution and manufacturing
  • Monitor and manage any scope changes that take place during the project
  • Meet with customers and inspectors during kickoff, inspection, and project meetings (occasional travel is involved)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proven selfstarter with strong work ethic, high energy, and positive attitude
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
  • Motivated, proactive, team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Education and/or Experience

  • University/College Degree in a relevant field is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function is required; manufacturing/industrial environment experience is preferred
  • Experience in managing or planning projects/activities in a customer facing environment is required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with scheduling using Microsoft Projects is an asset
  • Experience working with SAP environment is an asset

Physical Demands

  • Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment where problems occur and workload is heavy

Work Environment

  • Work environment involves working in both the warehouse and office settings; occasional travel is required
  • Warehouse environment involves ability to work in a high noise area, work around moving conveyors, forklifts, machines, and equipment
  • Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while working in warehouse
  • Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
