About the Position:


Reporting to the Yardi Program Manager, the Systems Support Business Analyst assists the Finance and Operations teams with systems support, system implementation, automation of processes and security control support.

The Systems Support Business Analyst will also work closely with the IT department to ensure a high level of security governance.


Key Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to Accounting, Finance and Operations Teams
  • Support for systems implementations and upgrades
  • Research, analyze and resolve software functionality
  • Perform data mapping, conversions and provide support when onboarding new Properties
  • Determine and document solutions and best practices to contribute to a solutions repository
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude to establish rapport with all departments involved
  • Evaluate security controls, access, and permissions
  • Provide enduser support, and training when required
  • Create new roles, groups and users based on new business requirements
  • Assist with creating customized reports for financial and operational review
  • Key resource for all automation initiatives
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and recommend improvements
  • Ad hoc requests from Finance and Operations

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Prior experience working with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries for data analysis
  • Experience with Yardi
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • High comfort level troubleshooting and problemsolving issues
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambition and the desire to learn and continue to grow
  • Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Previous experience in a systems support/ business analyst role
  • Collaborative team player

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • 23 years of experience working with Yardi (residential), considered a strong asset
