  • Job brief_
Business Administrators oversee improving efficiency and reducing material waste in manufacturing firms.

They are also in charge of the overall managerial functions of the company, which include planning, organizing, controlling, staffing, and directing the business operations.

Other duties and responsibilities of a Business Administrator include

  • Responsibilities_
  • Keeping records and preparing reports on the operations of the business
  • Establishing and carrying out different operational policies, goals, and procedures
  • Managing the general activities that are related to making products and providing services
  • Serving as the interlink between the executives, employees, and customers
  • Overseeing and managing business finances and budget activities
  • Directing and managing the company's products marketing and promotion
  • Research and introduce new ways to improve existing business models through technology
  • Providing materials as directed by the VP, including meeting preparation, analysis, written and PowerPoint products for external/internal use, information, substantive correspondence, and memorandum
  • Supporting senior leadership meetings and activities providing substantive research, inputs, and recommendations to the VP and leadership
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among the VP's direct reports and other staff to ensure the timely and effective execution of tasks
  • Handling all calls and visitors with grace, sophistication, and professionalism
  • Maintaining schedules and appointments, managing the calendar, and booking meeting rooms
  • Manage calendar entries, invitations, and scheduling for the Training Principal and the Assistant Training Principal anticipating needs and preparing responses
  • Bringing forward and escalating topics and issues for final decisionmaking when necessary
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of travel arrangements and being familiar with the specific, detailed needs of the executive
  • Other responsibilities and projects as needed including working extended hours occasionally to meet the business's needs.

  • Job Type: Permanent Fulltime
Probationary Period: 3 months or 480 hours, whichever longer
Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible on Sunday to Fridays depending on operation needs

  • Compensation: TBD in the interview
  • Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time

Qualifications:


  • College Diploma/University Degree
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Minimum (2) years of administration experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work in a fastpaced and constantly changing environment
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
