We are looking for Traffic Control Guards to work at any one of our local sites all over the GTA.


Responsibilities:


  • Traffic Control of busy streets working outdoors all seasons and weather types.
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong will to grow.
  • Must maintain a professional, respectful attitude when interacting with the general public
  • Take initiative both in solving problems and in improving the workplace
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards training and professional growth
  • Act as a visual deterrent and complete reports as required
  • Play an active role in identifying, monitoring and reporting security risks
  • Report, evaluate and follow up on all incidents on site and advise through the Chain of Command

Minimum Qualifications:

MUST HAVE OWN SAFETY BOOTS_

MUST HAVE TRAFFIC CONTROL TRAINING & CERTIFICATION_

MUST HAVE WHMIS CERTIFICATE_

  • Must have previous traffic control experience
- _
Must be able to work outdoors all seasons and weather types_.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Completion of High School OSSD
  • Be able, both physically and mentally, to fulfill the duties and requirements of the assigned work
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be reliable and punctual Must present a professional demeanor

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$19.00-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime
pay


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Traffic Control: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Traffic Control Person License (required)
