    Join Our Growing Team as a CWB Certified Welder

    Marcon Metalfab is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced CWB Certified Welder to join our vibrant team at Delta's Tilbury Park.At Marcon, we pride ourselves on an unwavering commitment to expert customer service and a robust quality management system.     Position: Afternoon Shift
    • Monday to Thursday (10 hours) from 3:15 pm to 1:45 am.

    Responsibilities:
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
    • Select welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.
    • Set up components for welding according to specifications.
    • Utilize angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
    • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.

    Skills and Requirements:
    • 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
    • Proficient in maximizing material utilization and minimizing waste.
    • Welding proficiency in all positions with Flux core, Metalcore; TIG is an asset.
    • Experience with welding aluminum, stainless, carbon, and mild steel is a significant asset.
    • Clear communication skills in written and spoken English.
