- A keen interest in the new residential building process.
Great sense of relationship building, customer service and people skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to learn inspection related software, use of a cell phone and Microsoft office products.
Ideally 2-5 years construction industry experience.
Construction related certificates/tickets are an asset, but are not required.
The ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing is mandatory.

The employment offer will be contingent upon completion of a successful background check and drivers abstract.
Alberta and British Columbia have legislation in place to ensure, with exception, that builders provide their clients with new construction and substantial reconstruction warranty and that they adhere to proper building techniques, building code and legislated performance guidelines.
The Opportunity
- This position will be responsible to perform assessments of single family and/or multifamily construction projects enrolled for home warranty. You will evaluate the quality of construction and will ensure that practices follow relevant provincial building codes and minimum construction quality standards along with performance guide standards.
You will provide construction reviews and inspections on potential new projects to assist with assessing risk and to provide technical construction expertise during the claims process.
This position does require travel (up to 25%) and would be considered a "remote worker" role, with visits to the HUB offices on an as-needed basis.
