THE ROLE


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced business development leader to lead our efforts in growing our technology, digital and experience design business.

You will be responsible for the growth of BIMM by attracting relevant and profitable clients, while working closely with account leadership to identify and develop strategies to organically grow BIMM through its existing client base, leverage your network to build new mandates and enhance the awareness of BIMM in the marketplace.

The organization will lean on your experience and seniority to guide and be actively engaged in establishing a new business machine that will lead the organization through material business growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Growth Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to grow our client roster
Responsible for outlining new business targets for BIMM and developing plans and process necessary to achieve these targets
Analyze existing approaches to the development of business and make changes are deemed appropriate
Analyze industry activity and develop annual business plan for specific identified industries
Clearly articulate and create alignment around a strategic offer for existing and future clients (inbound, executive relationship building in the market, new market opportunities, new service opportunities, acquisitions, etc.)

New BusIness Development

You will lead and quarterback all new digital business pitches with the support of functional teams at BIMM
Act as an ambassador for BIMM and a catalyst for business development opportunities, across all disciplines using your connections and industry knowledge
Develop and manage relationships with potential clients, industry influencers and key client stakeholders and key personnel at BIMM
Implement new business initiatives across the organization to build existing clients with an emphasis on digital growth
Remain aware of pitch opportunities in the Canadian marketplace
Maintain the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows


REQUIREMENTS:

Reporting requirements

You will work closely with the President & CEO of BIMM
Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, revenue growth and market trends to senior leadership.

Must haves

7+ years of experience in a growth role in a Technology Digital Experience or Service Agency environment
Proven track record of driving growth in your organization
Experience working in a Senior Leadership team to develop yearly plans
Ideally come from an Account Management or Strategic background in your previous roles
Ability to network in the industry
Understanding of various ExperienceTech. platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Contentful, etc.)
Experience working with sales tracking tools
Experience building sales presentations
Experience delivering impactful presentations
University degree in Business or related field
