Job Summary:


Job Specific Responsibilities:

The HR and Volunteer Recruitment Administrator will focus on full cycle recruitment and onboarding while supporting enhanced systems infrastructure and documentation, HR projects and HR/Volunteer administration


This includes:

  • Demonstrating ownership in the fullcycle recruitment and onboarding of talent while driving continuous improvement initiative.
  • Supporting the onboarding, management and offboarding of the organization's volunteers and students, in collaboration with operational leadership
  • Supporting a number of HR related assignments and projects including research, analysis, and daytoday HR administration.
  • Utilizing academic background in HR to recommend HR and Volunteer process and system improvement with a focus on employee experience, efficiency, and best practices
  • Participating in the development and maintenance of recruitment and retention strategies to attract talent.
  • Developing, maintaining and implementing Human Resources systems and processes with a focus on data integrity and enhancing HRIS system capability; building and maintaining database for the organization's volunteers and students.
  • Promoting a great employee and volunteer experience, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Supporting HR and organizational project work and participating on organizational committees as required

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in HR or related discipline
  • CHRP designation or CHRP in progress is a strong asset
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills
  • Selfmotivated with excellent organization and multitasking skills
  • Ambition and drive to succeed with an excellent work ethic
  • Problemsolver, with a keen sense of understanding the bigger picture
  • Clientservice focus and the ability to understand client needs
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of work
  • Work hour flexibility with occasional weekend or evening activities, and local travel
  • English is essential. Bilingualism (English and French), and other languages are a strong asset
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as Ceridian Dayforce, is a strong asset
  • Recruitment experience is a strong asset
