A day in the life of a HR Generalist:

The full-time, permanent Human Resources Generalist has a focus on the day to day human resources management for Ontario, with additional responsibilities for other HR operations, nationally.

The HR Generalist will work locally with the Toronto leaders and collaborate with the national HR team on broader scope initiatives.

You will part of a growing, stable organization and an industry leader in commercial kitchen equipment service in Canada.

This individual will be responsible for HR related duties: onboarding, recruitment, training, health and safety, and employee relations.

This is a supportive environment, and the role offers an interesting variety of responsibilities and opportunity for professional development for the right person.

Here's what you need to be successful:

Education in Human Resources, or a related field (Business Administration, Psychology, etc.) is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Human Resources, in a similar capacity
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work within deadlines
Ability to work independently within the discretion of the position
Ability to maintain confidentiality
