Ecofish is excited to supportMinnow Environmental Inc. (Minnow), a fellow Trinity Consultants Company, in their search for a Human Resource Generalist.
This role will work closely with the HR team across the businesses, including Ecofish, as we continue to develop and collaborate.
The Human Resources Generalist will help develop, collaborate, and coordinate a variety of functions within the Trinity family of companies, including aspects of talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations and health and wellness.
The Human Resources Generalist is also responsible for assisting with the overall administration and coordination of human resources related responsibilities.
- Collaborates on the development and maintenance of departmental programs and processes in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, training and career development, employee relations, employee engagement, and HR analytics
- Remains current with best practices, legislative changes, and industry standards
- Supports and maintains departmental procedures and provide improvements recommendations for policy and process improvements
- Is an active member of the HR team and provides high level support and establishes effective working relationships with staff
- Supports departmental and people managers on interpretation and administration of policies, programs, and best practices.
- Participates in implementing organizational change initiatives and participate on crossdepartmental initiatives as required
- Supports development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align staff with the strategic goals of the organization
The qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- 3+ years working in Human Resources, experience working in a consulting environment is an asset
- Formal education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field
- Understanding of employment governance, legislation, and regulatory environment along with familiarity with standard concepts, practices, policies, and procedures that govern employee rights and employer obligations
- Experience with employee compensation, recruitment, employee relations, performance development, training, and employee communications
- Superb communication (verbal and written) with the ability to develop deep relationships with individuals at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to view situations from multiple perspectives
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Respect for confidentiality
