Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Job coach who is responsible for recruiting, screening, placing, case managing, and supporting clients who are enrolled in Employment Programs to ensure a successful transition into long-term employment.


  • Work with participants in the classroom, providing coaching and support during the job search process
  • Identify employment opportunities that will be the right fit for participants
  • Accompany participants and support them with job interviews
  • Deliver effective case management and client support
  • Keep accurate records for funders
  • Engage with community organizations and employers to ensure successful transitions into employment

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Human Services or an equivalent combination of postsecondary education and experience
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations including those with mental health, addictions, and developmental disabilities is an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, dispute resolution and problemsolving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and strong administrative skills
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Emergency First Aid is an asset however we will provide training
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle
