Position Summary:


The HRIS Administrator plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation and enhancement of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

This position is integral to the creation of a next-generation airport environment, supporting all phases of the employee lifecycle with impeccable attention to detail and a strong understanding of HR processes including accruals.

The Administrator ensures data integrity, compliance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and accurate issuance and reviewal of offer letters.

This role requires strong, timely communication and effective relationship-building skills, particularly with the payroll team and other HR system users, to maintain operational excellence and data reliability.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of employee data across HRIS platforms
  • Review and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) relevant to HR practices
  • Oversee the accurate preparation and reviewal of offer letters, maintaining adherence to organizational standards and legal requirements
  • Audit HR data regularly to verify accuracy and consistency
  • Adhere to data integrity and security measures to protect employee information
  • Collaborate with IT and thirdparty vendors to manage system updates, patches, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain strong, effective relationships with the payroll team to ensure seamless data integration and accuracy
  • Facilitate crossdepartmental meetings to discuss system performance and gather feedback for improvements
  • Define data fields and set up tables in collaboration with IT to ensure accurate reporting and functionality
  • Serve as the primary contact for resolving system issues and addressing user inquiries efficiently
  • Analyze and resolve system issues involving HRIS and Time and Attendance systems
  • Provide timely and effective communication back to users on the status of their issues and inquiries
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce the frequency of user issues
  • Develop basic training materials for new and existing HRIS users within the organization
  • Conduct ad hoc training sessions to enhance user competence and system utilization
  • Offer support and guidance to users to foster better use of HR technology
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and support programs, making adjustments as needed

Qualifications:


  • University Degree or college diploma in Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • Work experience within Human Resources, with exposure to Human Resources Systems
  • Knowledge of the applicable principles, practices and standards of human resource administration
  • Experience with UKG UltiPro and Kronos considered an asset
  • Able to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong understanding of HRIS platforms; excellent data management and excel skills; high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and standards of human resource administration
  • Proficient in HRIS data management, analysis, and reporting, with a strong ability to leverage technology to improve HR operations
  • Demonstrated discipline in handling highly confidential information, ensuring privacy and security in all HR processes
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and facilitating discussions at all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, adept at managing competing priorities in a fastpaced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven initiative and the ability to work with a sense of urgency when required, anticipating needs and driving issues to resolution
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently, showcasing reliability and effectiveness under pressure
